WASHINGTON—The Environment Trade Corporation has made the decision to postpone a ministerial conference scheduled to start Tuesday in Geneva, following dozens of nations limited travel from southern Africa to prevent the transmission of a new coronavirus variant.
The WTO attributed the postponement to newly announced travel constraints and quarantine prerequisites in Switzerland and numerous other European nations around the world, leaving numerous delegates not able to travel. The group explained that the member nations around the world unanimously supported the choice.
