Rumours on alleged ill-effects of areca hurt small, marginal farmers: Growers’ body

The All India Areca Growers’ Affiliation (AIAGA) has explained repeated rumours on the alleged ill-consequences of arecanut on human health and fitness affect growers with modest and marginal land holdings. It has urged the Central and Point out governments to just take steps to quell these rumours and initiate measures to give balance to the market.
