Govt gave nod to 157 new medical colleges since 2014: Health Ministry

The government has given nod to 157 new clinical colleges in India because 2014 and has invested Rs seventeen,691.08 crore on these jobs, the Union overall health ministry explained.

On completion, just about sixteen,000 undergraduate clinical seats would be included, it explained.

“Of these, six,five hundred seats have already been created with the performing of sixty four new clinical colleges. Under the centrally sponsored strategies (CSS), the central government has also offered about Rs 2,451.one crore for upgradation of present condition government or central government clinical colleges to increase MBBS seats in the country,” the ministry explained in a assertion.
