The Office of Food and General public Distribution (DFPD), below the Purchaser Affairs Ministry, claimed it has issued uniform specifications for fortified rice kernels for Quality A and frequent rice for procurement of fortified rice shares.
It claimed that 1 per cent of fortified rice kernels should really be blended with standard rice shares. The Ministry claimed that uniform specifications of foods grains for Central Pool procurement for the ensuing Kharif Advertising period (KMS) 2020-21 has also been issued.
