At minimum four NGOs working for
the survivors of the 1984 Bhopal fuel tragedy on Sunday wrote to Key Minister Narendra Modi demanding that the ongoing medical trials for Covaxin, an indigenously formulated COVID-19 vaccine, be stopped in the Madhya Pradesh funds in perspective of the “gross violation of laws and tips”.
In the letters tackled to the PM and Union Overall health Minister Harsh Vardhan, these NGOs have also sought punishment for the “accountable events who ended up negligent in making certain the safety, nicely getting and the rights of the demo individuals”.
They also demanded monetary compensation for “damages brought on during the Covaxin demo in Bhopal”.
