2012:
Jan 28th We lost dearest Bram on Tuesday. At 13 years 4 months his innings ran out. As he lived life, so as he left this world: with dignity. Bless you Bram.
Here's a photo from his last big
outing at the National Specialty.

Yes, I know -- I was very lax in updating my site last year. My resolve is to do a much better job in 2012.
2011 was very quiet as regards showing. Ioan and Iona continue to mature
very slowly and Jack of course is leggy and such a baby. Still, I hope
we'll be out and about a lot more this year. With any luck we'll have some
decent judges slates to help encourage us!
I will get some more pictures of Jack and the others!
2011 was also an extremely expensive year for vet bills. Ioan had a very
nasty bacterial infection that caused multiple pneumonias (Pseudomonas)
and involved lung biopsy and cultures. The good news is that he's made a
full recovery and we haven't had a reoccurrence (yay!) Sam meanwhile
developed seizures, ultimately diagnosed as due to
hydrocephalus.
Unfortunately we chose to let Sam go due to decreasing quality of life.
And the year rounded out with a kerfuffle among the girls and poor Meadow ending
up with not a few stitches as a result. I look forward to NOT having
a repeat of any of this in 2012!
2011 also saw the sad sad loss of a few deardogs: Gaelic, Galadrial, Heli,
and Elessar all lost to Osteo. Cloud and Beth also left us. 1/9/12:
I just heard that we also lost dearest
Medb at the tender age
of 12.5 years last November. What a special girl Ms Heart was.
Other than that, the year was quiet on the home front. I did have a
wonderful visit with my sister and brother-in-law in September and had a great
time sharing with them the beauties of the West Coast (they visited from
Australia)
2011:
May 8th: Thought I was long overdue for an update. Things have
been crazy busy getting ready for the SDCA National Specialty.
Jacques continues to grow and
grow -- he's a real cutie. I also took some pix of the other guys.
Here's Ioan, and
again, and
the crowd.
March 25th: Puppies are getting ready to leave. "Pete" goes tomorrow, and "Kisser" heads off to Houston on April 7th. I've been posting photos to my
Facebook album
