About Tannochbrae
I chose "Tannochbrae" as my kennel name because I have always been a big fan of a '60s British TV series called "Dr Finley's Casebook", based very loosely on AJ Cronin's "Adventures in 2 Worlds". It was filmed in a small town called Callandar (aka Tannochbrae) in Scotland which I have visited and found quite delightful (it's quite famous for it's salmon fishing). PBS recently showed an updated "Dr Finley" series on "Masterpiece Theatre".
Fin was named after the good Dr, and Fin's first litter have names of characters or place names.
I love conformation showing, both AKC and UCI, and lure coursing, and one day aspire to having an agility dog or two. I am a past board member of the Scottish Deerhound Club of America (SDCA), and a member of the Cascade Hound Association. |
